Why deposit is needed?

How is the deposit refunded?
To get your deposit back, please select "Refund deposit" in your user profile. Your deposit will be refunded within 7-10 days.
Can the deposit amount be credited towards the cost of the winning vehicle?
Yes, you can, but you will not be able to participate in other auctions.
Is there a fee for participating in the auction?
No, the auction is free. Only if you win, you have to pay for the vehicle.
In which cases is the deposit non-refundable?
The deposit is non-refundable if you abandon the winning vehicle.
Can I get my deposit back if I don’t win an auction?
Yes, you can get your deposit back at any time. This is not dependent on the number of auctions won.
Where will I receive my invoice and how will I be informed?
You will receive an invoice via the email address provided in your user profile. You can also find your invoice in your user profile under "Accounts".
How long does it take to pay the auction invoice?
The fee for the vehicle won at auction must be paid within 1-2 days of receipt of the notification. To ensure that the payment reaches us on time, it is recommended that you make the payment in your user profile under 'Payments'.
How long does it take to pay the transport invoice?
The transport fee must be paid within 2-3 days of receipt of the notification. To ensure that the payment reaches us on time, it is recommended that you make the payment in your user profile under 'Payments'.
How long does it take to pay the duty and brokerage invoice?
The customs duty and brokerage fee must be paid within 1-2 days of receipt of the notification. To ensure that your payment reaches us on time, it is recommended that you make your payment in your user profile, under 'Payments'.
Failure to pay by the due date will result in penalties.
When will I receive the final invoice for the vehicle?
The final invoice is issued when the car is in port after customs clearance.
What documents are required for registration in Lithuania?
Next to the document type you will find a symbol that indicates whether the documents are eligible for registration:
A list of eligible documents can be found here. Even if you choose a vehicle with the wrong documents, we will assess their eligibility before confirming your bet. If you have any questions, we will contact you on the phone number provided in the registration.
What does the type of damage mean?

How do I know if a vehicle has already been auctioned?
Vehicles marked with the symbol 
We do not recommend taking part in such auctions, or you need to take a very good look at the past and present damage. There is a high probability that the aftermath of a previous event has been poorly handled. We recommend checking the history of the car through carfax.
Is it reliable to buy a car sold by a private individual at auction?
We do not recommend participating in auctions where vehicles are not sold by insurance companies. There is a high chance of buying a "doll". You can read what a "doll" is here.
I noticed damage to my car on arrival that I didn’t see in the photos, who will cover the repairs?
We are not responsible for the condition of the delivered car or any hidden defects, so we recommend that you carefully assess the condition of the car from the auction photos.
For an additional fee, we can offer insurance against damage during transport.
How do I know if a vehicle has been withdrawn from an auction site?
In your user profile, under "Winning auctions", you can find information about the transport of the vehicle from the auction to the port.
Will I get photos from the port?
You will receive photos of the vehicle from the port, loading into the container and unloading by email.
How do I find out the container number and the name of the ship?
You can find all the information in your user profile, under "Winning auctions".
How long does the boat sail for?
The duration of the sailing depends on the location of the port, with a typical duration of 30-45 k.d. More information can be found here.
How do I find out the date when my car will arrive at the port?
For full details, see your user profile.
How is customs duty calculated for cars and motorcycles?
The import duty on cars from the US is 10%. The import duty on motorcycles from the US is 6%. Vehicle duty is calculated on the purchase price at a US auction, plus the auction amount and transport costs. Currently, the standard VAT rate in Lithuania is 21%, which is calculated on the price of the car plus auction fees, transport, customs broker and import duty costs.
Will I need to go through customs?
We will handle the customs procedure, unless you inform us that you want to handle the paperwork yourself.
Will customs clearance be made on the actual purchase amount?
Yes, we will provide customs documents and invoices as proof.
Does the spreadsheet show the final amount including delivery to the yard?
The price includes transport to the specified port.
Can you offer delivery to the address?
Yes, we can offer delivery to your address for an additional cost.
When will I receive my vehicle documents?
You can collect the vehicle yourself from the designated port, and the vehicle documents will be handed over by a customs officer.
You can pick up your vehicle from the scheduled port using your own transport, the vehicle documents can be handed over to the driver, but we are not responsible for lost/misplaced documents.
We can deliver the vehicle to the address you specify, and the vehicle documents will be delivered by courier.
